Al-arm vzw is a recognized association in Geel where people with experience of poverty come together for social interaction, support, and activities. They work to break social isolation and poverty through open meetings, training, and outings.
There are open meetings every Tuesday and Thursday. They work on breaking social isolation and poverty.
Related Voices , the choir of Al-arm, brings people with and without experience of poverty together around music. The rehearsals strengthen self-confidence and give a voice to people in poverty through their own lyrics.
With the BONGO project, Al-arm also focuses on equal educational opportunities, with a liaison between schools and vulnerable families.
